Bourbon is flowing at Lockbox in Lexington

September is National Bourbon Month and Lockbox in 21c Hotel Museum Lexington has a few events to help you celebrate this very Kentucky month long holiday.

Beginning on the first Friday of September (the 6th), Lockbox is hosting a complimentary bourbon tasting that will feature individual distilleries each week.

Patrons can expect Castle & Key on September 6 with their made from scratch small batch, Four Roses on September 13, Barrel House Distillery on September 20, and finishing out the month with Lexington Brewery Distillery on September 27. All Friday events begin at 5 pm and must be 21 or over to participate.

You can also gain a little cocktail knowledge with Norma Beekman on September 8 at 3 pm creating the perfect Mint Julep. She will take guests step-by-step with how to make cocktails using Four Roses bourbon.

On Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm, Four Roses is partnering with Lockbox to create a special Fork and Bottle dinner. There will be a special prix fix menu curated by executive chef Cody DeRosett with craft pairing cocktails.
