Event for Female Whisky Lovers and Writers in Lexington

Are you a female that enjoys doing old-fashioned things like writing a letter? Do you also enjoy a nice glass of whisky? If you said yes to these, then there is an event for you.

Join The Summit at Fritz Farm in celebration of International Women’s Day with Jacklyn Evans, Maker’s Mark Distillery Diplomat. She will tell the story of how Margie Samuels disrupted the Whisky industry to help create one of America’s most iconic brands. Sip on a custom crafted Maker’s Mark Cocktail from Whiskey Bear Bar, as Deanna Talwalker teaches the lost art of calligraphy. In addition to learning a new skill, Maker’s Mark will provide some take home gifts which will help you hone your hand writing skills. Finally, enjoy local snacks from The Barn at Fritz Farm.

Event is on Thursday, March 7 at 6 pm. Please come prepared with the mailing address of a woman who has inspired you.
