Lexington Brewing Co. is using their alcohol to make hand sanitizer
Using their alcohol supply, Lexington Brewing Co. is lending a helping hand by crafting hand sanitizer for community organizations.
“As the community rallies together amid the adversity caused by COVID-19, we want to do our part,” said Mark Coffman, master distiller at Town Branch. “In this small way, we are able to help our neighbors and support the ongoing effort to keep everyone safe and healthy.”
The Lexington Brewing Co. hand sanitizer is made of 80% alcohol, aloe vera gel, and a small amount of hydrogen peroxide. They have used natural ingredients to give it a nice scent.
The first batch of 200 is to be delivered to Lexington City Hall.
The company is working with the city to determine which organizations need it the most. To submit your organization, send your request to this email KentuckyAle@alltech.com.
